The Sculpting…
The course is an introduction to life modelling. It will not presume any previous knowledge. Working from life within a small group, you will explore the techniques involved in
sculpting a full figure in clay, learning aspects of:
- Measuring the model
- "Scaling down"
- Creating the armature
- “Fleshing out” the armature
- Modelling the figure
- Measuring and proportion
- Finalising the sculpture

The Course…
- Trilingual teacher: English, Italian, French
- Small classes are open to beginners and confirmed artists alike
- Live model (male or female)
- Courses last for four to five weeks and are renewable all year round to acquire a deeper understanding of the subject
- Cost: average price 40€ per (2h30) lesson including tuition, basic materials, use of tools and modelling fees
