What is the artists' open studio Roma for international artists?

Artists' Open Studio Roma is a community of international artists who meet once week in a studio near Piramide in Rome. Working from life, they can draw, paint or sculpt as they wish. No need to be an experienced artist - this is an opportunity to work with a model, but without a teacher.

Why?

Ever feel isolated as an artist? The Artists' Open Studio Roma gives artists a chance to create alongside each other once a week in Rome. There are many advantages:

• An opportunity to train the eye
• An opportunity to create
• Reinforces other artistic activities
• Be part of a (non-virtual!) artist's community
• A place for artists to meet
• An opportunity to network, share ideas, tips, techniques and problems
• Sharing model and studio fees
• Helps in overcoming artist's block

Who?

The Artists' Open Studio Roma was founded by Claire Nelson who works in the country in her studio in Sabina. From her need to work from life and connect with other artists, the project was born.
